EOCYC Sr Week is designed to provide spiritual growth for young people between grades 7-12 in a relaxed atmosphere; conducted by people who love the Lord. We promote an appreciation for spiritual values and good morals, encourage Christian ideas and the forming of Christian friendships. The camp is under a Board of Directors, all of who are faithful members of the Church of Christ.
EOCYC Junior Week is designed to provide the same spiritual growth as Senior Week in an environment that is more suitable for grades 3-8.
EOCYC is a new direction for a camp with a long tradition whose roots go deep into the surrounding area. We recall with fondness the lovely memories of camp at Wister and at Robber's Cave. With new vitality and purpose, we at EOCYC, desire to carry on the spirit of the past but be relevant to today's world. We are striving to serve the Lord faithfully in this ministry as those in the past.
EOCYC is a place that is a "home away from home" environment. We build friendships upon a trust that can never be replaced and that lasts a lifetime. With an approximate 60-100 campers each year, this allows for a place often referred to as another family. Our staff members have a love and desire to teach our area kids about Christianity, but is not limited to the spiritual way of life. We instill life values as well.
At EOCYC our activities range from Bible classes to sports and a lot of free time to spend with friends. We are divided up into teams that are competitive in softball, volleyball, basketball, theme days, Biblical knowledge, and art. Throughout the week we enjoy other activities such as: swimming, campfire devos, cabin talks, singing, worship every evening, talent show, and much more.
EOCYC conducts all events under the supervision of adults with the safety of our campers in mind. A certified lifeguard will be present during swimming. When accidents or illness occur, the camper will be attended to by a nurse. EOCYC carries insurance which will cover the cost of treatment of bodily injuries not covered by or in the absence of other medical insurance on the camper (illness is not covered).
Dressing up for theme days is always fun and a way to challenge the creative side of our campers. Click on '2012 Theme Days' to see what next summer has planned for you!
The talent show provides the opportunity for our campers to shine!
With all the activities that we endure during the week...there comes a time that we just give out!
On Friday, the cooks are given a much needed break from the campers...PIZZA TIME!!!!
After pizza we go bowling and we definitely have a style of our own!!!
The memories that you will receive at EOCYC will last a lifetime. Contact the Stigler Church of Christ, Stigler, OK for more information!
